Simon extends his hand for Deacon to shake, then inquires as to who the stranger with him is.  Deacon introduces Trent to Simon and tells him that he is training him for a week or two.  Simon then shakes Trent’s hand and turns to give the girl behind the counter a bad time.  Deacon hears Trent mumble something under his breath.  Deacon asks him what he said.  Trent tells him it was nothing, only that Simon has a strong grip.  He shakes his hand in the air, as if to get the blood flow back in it.  Simon turns back to Deacon and tells him that he is going to start having calves born and he needs him and Greg to come up and take care of some animals that might eat his calves.  Deacon tells him that he will talk to Greg and put a trip together.  Simon tells him he need only to let him know and he will make sure there is plenty of food.  They leave the store, finish the rest of their deliveries and head for home.  Back at the plant, Deacon tells Trent that he will see him in the morning as they walk out to go home.
