Deacon reluctantly agrees to meet him there. Deacon races home, quickly jumps through the
shower, and hurries to get dressed. His
hair is still wet from the shower, but there is no time to dry it.
He arrives at the restaurant and walks in. The smell of garlic fills his nostrils. He finds Greg, Lana and Crissy in the waiting
area of the restaurant. Crissy smiles
and gives him a little wave, he cannot help but smile back. Deacon mumbles to himself that trying not to
fall for her is going to be harder then he thought. Greg gives him a hard time about actually
being on time for once in his life.
Deacon, however, is only thinking about Crissy’s warm smile. Finally seated at a table, they order their
food. As they wait for their food, Lana
and Crissy discuss dying Lana’s red hair, jet black. They turn to the guys and ask what they think
of the idea. Deacon tells Lana to do whatever
makes her happy. (He really does not
care about this sort of thing.)
Greg does not like the idea and tells them “I kind of have a
thing for red heads.”
Crissy says that she likes the idea, “We would look like
twins.”
Lana laughs as she points out the fact she has more curves
then Crissy. After dinner it is decide
to go back to Greg and Lana’s to hang out.
Lana suggests getting a movie, the other three agree.
Greg asks Deacon if he would mind running home to get some
beer. Deacon tells him he is not going
to be drinking tonight but that doesn’t mean that the rest of them cannot. Lana turns to Crissy and asks her if she is
riding with Deacon to get the beer or with her and Greg to get the movie.
“Deacon!”
Crissy exclaims excitedly, jumping next to Deacon
